A traffic accident Thursday morning landed a motorist in the middle of the Santa Fe Depot Park in Pauls Valley.

The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup was traveling westbound on Grant Avenue (State Highway 19) around 11 a.m. Thursday when his vehicle left the roadway in the 300 block of E. Grant Ave. and traveled across Earl Street, through a ditch, and over the railroad tracks south of the railroad crossing. He crashed through the brick and iron fencing surrounding the Santa Fe Depot Park and came to rest on the park's sidewalk.

No injuries were reported and there is no word yet as to what caused the accident.
